7227 5hp ½ yard Chute Fed Compactor, “W” Series

Designed for long life and outstanding performance, this automatic ½ yard NSWMA chute fed compactor measures approximately 6’ long. Compactor is a 5 horsepower motor, using 3 phase power on a 220/440 volt 60 hertz circuit. The heavy duty construction and horsepower allow this system to be offered for heavy duty use in high-rise buildings. Compactor has a single cylinder with reinforced sloped hopper, photo-eye for automatic operation and access door for hand feeding with hose and wiring for remote power pack installation closer to compactor. It comes standard with full/fault indicator, overload protection, time out protection, UL listed PLC controlled panel with manual, auto and lock out selections. This versatile compactor is also designed to be used as an automatic chute fed or a manual hand fed system and easily accommodates up to a 3 cubic yard bin (SKU #500319).
