The 2" x 8" sign is designed to mount to the wall just above the intake door, letting users know what sort of materials are meant to be deposited into the chute. Foam adhesive mounting strips are included which allow you to attach the sign to the wall (or any smooth, flat surface) without the need for hardware or drilling.
