WARNING: CAUTION REQUIRED WHEN USING 24" x 24" CHUTE INTAKE DOORS
Purchasing and installing 24" x 24" chute intake doors requires careful consideration due to the larger size. This dimension can present a safety hazard, as it is large enough for a human to fit into, increasing the risk of injury or entrapment.
Key Safety Considerations:
- Restricted Access: Only authorized personnel should have access to areas where these chute doors are installed.
- Proper Supervision: Ensure oversight when the chute doors are in use to prevent accidents.
- Signage: Install visible warning signs near the chute doors to alert users to the potential danger.
- Safety Interlocks: Use on a chute system with safety interlocks to prevent operation when the intake door is open.
- Alternative Sizes: Make every accommodation to use a smaller intake door size to mitigate this risk.
Disclaimer:
It is the responsibility of the purchaser and installer to ensure that all safety measures are in place, and the chute is used in compliance with local safety codes and regulations. Failure to address these concerns may cause serious injury or harm.
Proceed with caution.
