24"x48" Fire Rated Wall Access Door, Prime Painted

24"w x 48"h Left side hinged, hand-operated, positive latching, 1-1/2 hour UL labeled access door. Includes two exterior, recessed rings attached to a sliding bolt, two interior latch releases, heavy duty spring closer, and concealed hinge. Door panel and frame are made of 16 gauge galvannealed steel with prime coat finish suitable for painting. Door is for wall installation only and can be mounted with left or right side hinged operation. To facilitate all types of wall installation, frame is available with bolt holes and masonry anchors. Optional cylinder lock is available. Complies with building codes and ANSI-UL 10B standards.

Door is not approved for use as a chute intake or discharge door. This door is for use in accessing equipment, valves, switches, etc. located inside a fire rated shaft, such as those enclosing a chute.

This is a listed/rated chute fire door assembly. Buyer and Installer must verify door rating, size, and elevation above finished floor comply with the door listing, NFPA 82 sizing limits, NFPA 80, and all local code and AHJ requirements. Door must be installed by a licensed qualified professional and must remain self-closing and positive-latching at all times. Annual inspection/certification is required. Any door that fails to self-close or latch must be secured closed and removed from service until fully repaired and re-inspected.
